Things Afoot

We're pleased as punch to welcome David Arms, Bass and Synth, to the technical team. Also, the inimitable Cliff Schecht, Guitar, is back for another season of intern fun on the design bench. The small changes you've seen in the last year (new cabling, new panels) and others behind the scene are tiny indications of many new things getting ready to pop. Hold onto your hats.

CygnusRadio

We've been listening to CygnusRadio more than ever recently. We got hooked by David Vesel's unique program of Theremin music, Spellbound, on Sunday nights (US time) http://spellbound.purplenote.com. In the last couple of months, we've started checking in during the week, recently catching IndepenDisc on Wednesday http://www.independisc.com. We never know what we'll hear playing there, but it's all independent music presented by a staff that's dedicated to putting on great shows.

Analog Arts Ensemble

We're always looking forward to hearing from Rudolf Kamper (www.dolfkamper.org), Trumpeter & Composer. He is the Development Director for ANALOG arts ensemble, a non-profit that is getting international attention as a new and experimental music institution. They recently performed the US premier of Stockhausen's last electronic work: Cosmic Pulses. Their website, www.ANALOGartsensemble.net, includes a terrific modern music blog with discussion & critical analysis, coming events and lots of music.
