Post by James »

Can audio signals be input into the converter? Use it for simple distortion?

Yes, audio can be patched through this section or the inverter/gain section, or, the two series-connected.

The non-linear transfer through the L2E section would work to alter the waves from a VCO's triangle or sine waves, or, exaggerate signal peaks of music from a CD, MP3, etc. Settings could be such that clipping occurs, introducing this sort of distortion.

Clipping distortion can also be obtained through the inverter/gain section but the output would need attenuation to be brought back down to the same level as the input signal source.
